CAPE PRESENTS: This workshop is intended to provide participants with strategies for becoming unstuck in their creative practice. Students will be led through a series of timed creative prompts, intended to disorient and re-orient participants. Students will respond to different art mediums including video, audio, writing, and image. They will be asked to translate their ideas between writing, drawing, and movement. The workshop will end with group discussion and presentation. This workshop is informed by the pedagogy of Lin Hixon and Matthew Goulish, both of whom I'm studied with and assisted in teaching.
